An Observation On Knowledge

Why is man ignorant?
One may know what another cannot,
But neither may know what he should.

Is knowledge important?
If everyone knew nothing about anything,
Then the unknown could not be known.

Why does man search for what he can’t understand?
Though he seeks comprehension, can it be found?
Can knowledge be attained to the fullest amount?
Is it possible to know all that knowledge may know?
Is knowledge a being?  Can you race it or beat it?
When a man speaks from knowledge, what is inferred?

Knowledge is poison!
When man understands that he can’t understand
Why does he seek comprehension all the more.

Knowledge is pointless!
Some know much, some know little,
But the dumb may know more than the learned.

By knowledge a man learns what he seeks not to know,
So he abandons the truth to forget what he learned.
Yet he knew when he sought to know what he knows,
That the knowledge would not quench his great thirst.
If he knew everything that he really wanted to know,
Then why did he search for what he didn’t want to know?.

Knowledge is heavy.
When ignorance becomes knowledge of the past,
Then the truth outweighs all ignorance.

Knowledge is lacking.
Until a man knows that knowledge is empty,
Knowledge is not filled without wisdom.

Wisdom knows what to know and why it is known at all.
