…stories and poetry to touch, teach, & turn the heart toward truth.

The Tale of Me

Greetings and welcome! My name is Clayton. I am abundantly blessed that you have visited my little corner of the blogosphere! I am twenty-six, and am gratefully married to my lifelong Lady Love, Cayla, who is the greatest mortal blessing I have ever received from the Lord. Furthermore, we are parents to a 2-year-old blessing of a son (with another on the way)! Daddy’s Song

What I hope is readily evident on my blog is the fact that I love God. When I began this blog to post my stories and poetry, I considered whether or not I wanted to grow my reader base without mentioning my relationship with God. It would doubtlessly have gained me more followers. In the end, though, it would have required me to stifle my passion for the true Love of my life. This would never have worked, and I am ashamed that I ever considered it. Instead, I have chosen to make this blog and everything I post here about Him. While the characters and issues I write about aren’t always “Christian,” the stories and poems themselves point directly to the one and only hope I have for life, love, and liberty—my God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The name TALES2APOINT comes from my life-long desire to not write anything that doesn’t draw the reader, including myself, to a specific point that will help to clarify his or her life’s purpose. It is a bold attempt, but I know that when something affects me as much as putting my thoughts into an intentional format of prose or poetry, it has to affect someone else at least to some notable amount.

The words posted here are from my own mind (unless otherwise noted) and are what I desire to share with you. Please let me know what you think of them. Honest feedback is hugely appreciated.

Blessings to you, the reader, and may the true point—the Purpose of our existence—become evident to you in the words you find here.

With love, Clayton
